Major League Dodgeball (MLD) has been the social hub for Dodgeball since 2012, hosting several mixed Dodgeball competitions across the city of Melbourne and its surrounding suburbs.
MLD is an affiliate of National Sporting Organisation, Dodgeball Australia (DA), who are aligned with the World Dodgeball Association.
In addition to our local weekly competitions, we host events and tournaments throughout the year, giving our players the opportunity to get involved with the Dodgeball community. We also host private functions, including Corporate Events, Birthday Parties, School Events and Bucks Parties.
With party tunes playing during games, we pride ourselves on offering a fun, social and interactive competitions. At MLD, Dodgeball is more than just a sport, it’s a community!

Why They Love Us!
I joined MLD in 2013. Growing up, I loved sport but there something unique about Dodgeball that’s kept me involved for the best part of a decade. MLD’s comps have a fun vibe, are inclusive and cater for everyone, whether you’re athletic or just want to have a laugh with mates. I’ve also represented the Australian Dodgeroos. MLD’s given me that platform to continually improve my skills and enjoy the sport in a social setting. I encourage you to come down and have a game. It’s like the movie, but better in person!
I’ve been involved with Major League Dodgeball as a player, then a national player and now a referee for over five years. Not only have I grown in love with the sport, but I’ve made so many new friends and memories along the way. MLD has been such a welcoming and fun community. I’d recommend anyone to have a free trial game and give it a go. You won't regret it! That’s how I initially got involved with some mates, and I haven’t looked back. I mean, who doesn't want to throw some balls at people...

Founded in 2012 in Melbourne, we have since aimed to bring together people to enjoy and compete in the most entertaining sport – DODGEBALL !
Our vision is to make Major League Dodgeball a comfortable and fun experience for all our players, and remind them of the good ol’ times playing dodgeball.
Our mission is to provide the best service through our fun, inclusive and social dodgeball competitions, for anyone and everyone. We believe in growing the sport of dodgeball for all ages, genders, and skill levels !
